Eduardo Niebla In Concert plus support

Friday 15th February 7:30 pm

Hailed by the Guardian for his “exquisite guitar playing”, Eduardo Niebla is a formidable flamenco jazz guitar virtuoso and master of today’s generation. Continually seeking out new musical terrain he has traversed the worlds of jazz, classical, world and pop music, collaborating with such diverse partners as George Michael, Craig David, sitar maestro Nishat Khan, Lol Coxhill (sax) and the Dante String Quartet.  His concert appearances include the Queen Elizabeth Hall London, St. David’s Hall Cardiff, Celtic Connections Glasgow, the Brecon Jazz Festival and Glastonbury, as well as international festivals around the world.

He presents an amazing repertoire of “stunning flamenco jazz” (The Sound) from his latest albums with guitarist Matthew Robinson:

"An imaginative and stimulating instrumental set in which flamenco is infused with classical Indian music and a contemporary jazz edge... top-class playing and beautiful themes... wonderful tracks which completely enfold the listener." (SONGLINES)
